SM Fashion in Action: Style, Spirit, and Synergy

Five days, over 600 participants, and countless moments of fun and learning. SM Fashion teambuilding was truly unforgettable.

The event began with an Enneagram learning session, giving participants the opportunity to better understand themselves and their leaders, while the afternoon was filled with fun and engaging activities to build the team further. The healthy competition sparked the drive and enthusiasm of each participant, which prompted them to also display SM Retail’s DELITE values, such as Leadership and Teamwork.

While each Business Unit had its own unique journey, everyone was united by one shared goal: to support one another in growing the business.

SM Woman’s battle cry, “We are not Gentle – Channeling Boldness with Purpose,” empowered the Ladies’ Fashion Team to embrace both strength and grace in the workplace. In the same spirit, the Children’s Fashion Team was reminded that their work goes beyond dressing kids. It’s about creating joyful, magical moments of childhood. And with their signature blend of style and energy, the Mighty Men’s Fashion Group stood out for their positivity and strong sense of teamwork.

Keeping the spirit of empowerment and purpose alive, the Shoes and Bags Group introduced the playful yet meaningful tagline “If the shoe fits, bag it,” a reminder to own our roles with pride. Meanwhile, the Accessories Group’s rallying cry, “Accessories, Accelerate,” served as a call to keep the momentum strong and push for outstanding results this year.

With the support of HR partners and the guidance of SM Fashion leaders, employees left the session feeling motivated and energized. Adding his personal touch, Business Unit Head, Mr. Aldwin B. Co, closed each session with a special message for every BU. His most resonant reminder: to be the “Liwanag sa Dilim,” the light that brings positivity, even in challenging times.

From the cheers and games to the insightful sessions and meaningful takeaways, the teambuilding truly showcased what teamwork is all about. It was a celebration of connection, collaboration, and creativity, proof that when we come together, we don’t just work better, we also enjoy the journey along the way.
